Katie Burgert grew up fishing the warm water rivers of PA but now spends most of her time chasing trout in the mountain streams and lakes of CO. Getting away from the crowds by hiking into the backcountry is her favorite way to fish, and she used that passion to start a website dedicated to backcountry fly fishing called Fish Untamed. She also hosts the Fish Untamed Podcast, which covers all things fly fishing.
